      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Dear Friends,<br><br>With the news of 1.1 getting delayed "by a few days" I feel now is the time to share our feelings on end game progression with SW:TOR.&nbsp; We feel that we have invested a lot of time into SW:TOR, and we recognize other guilds that have progressed far into end game raiding like us have as well (you can also read more of our thoughts on end-game content and SW:TOR in general <a target="HERE" title="HERE" href="http://corellianrun.com/2012/01/16/guild-checkpoint-27/#more-9997">here</a>).<br><br>While I think many of us would reach a rational conclusion that 1.0 progress was not a level playing field, and that 1.1 was really the first true equal opportunity for guilds that wish to compete in end game progress could, we now find ourselves yet again in the position of BioWare/EA deciding to screw things up.<br><br>Weekly maintenance / patches mean nothing if they're constantly delayed and pushed back to a new random date.&nbsp; Being told for the past 2 weeks in a row now that patches would come out Tuesday, only to learn later they wouldn't be coming out until Thursday (or later) is a serious issue that BioWare needs to re-think.&nbsp; If a patch isn't ready, then you probably shouldn't announce to everyone that it will be released.&nbsp; To add to this point, if it's not going to be released on a Tuesday, then <span style="font-weight: bold;">wait until the next scheduled maintenance (the following Tuesday) to release it.</span><br><br>Having these random releases for patches is yet again screwing over the end game progression community.&nbsp; Speaking for ourselves, we set our raid schedule around patches being deployed on Tuesday, which gives us most of the week to progress.&nbsp; IF it's released on Thursday, you're now going to force us to raid over the weekend just to remain competitive. <br><br>While I understand that some might feel "why not just shut up and raid over the weekend if you care this much about progression" I hope those people try to see why this is an issue.&nbsp; Running a high end raiding guild is a lot of work, and adhering to a schedule is something that is needed for stability.&nbsp; Bioware/EA changing the rules and releasing content patches whenever they feel really needs to be re-thought... if they care about the end game raiding community at all. <br>]]></content:encoded>

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Nightmares Asylum just cleared all of 16 man normal of EV.&nbsp; <br><br>The difference between 8 person and 16 person SoA is pretty noticeable which is a little odd seeing as no one could say 16 and 8 person are equal difficulties.&nbsp; <br><br>We also cleared EV on Hard and Nightmare mode up to SoA in 16 man as well.&nbsp; I say Hard/Nightmare because we didn't do droid on Nightmare mode, however I'm sure we'll get him next week.<br><br>We noticed some interesting loot issues with Nightmare mode encounters on 16 person.&nbsp; They seemed to only drop T2 opposed to T3.&nbsp; This happened on two encounters for us.&nbsp; I'm sure this is a bug, and hope that BioWare fixes this issue soon. <br>]]></content:encoded>

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[We cleared 4/5 EV hard mode last night, and decided to give Bonethrasher on nightmare mode a try. After many wipes, we were able to finally down the boss. (Here are some tips for others. Ranged DPS &gt; Melee DPS. And have fun with this 'threat table'). <a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.darthhater.com/forums/forum-home/general-discussion/endgame-pve/24252-official-thread-reporting-world-us-eu-operations#c14">This is currently an undisputed world first.<br></a><br>Little disappointed in how Bioware has nightmare mode setup. Hard / Nightmare seem to share loot tables from what we can tell, just that nightmare mode only drops T3, while hard will drop both T2 and T3. <br><br>We're still not sure if Bonethrasher's aggro table works correctly, but I would venture to say that it's not. All players are encouraged to apply. Keep in mind our standards may be high, but any player has the capability to develop their character into a fine-tuned raider, and a positive attitude goes a long way.<br><br>Nightmares Asylum is a competitive endgame Operation (raid) guild forming for the launch of Star Wars: The Old Republic. Our goal as a guild is plain and simple. Nightmares Asylum members plan to kill bosses and collect their loot, fast. Our players consist of world ranked World of Warcraft raiders, former e-sports competitors, and seasoned min-maxers who have proven their experience. Our members will be designing their characters from the ground up to master the mechanics and theorycraft of their role. The guild plans on dominating server first nightmare mode boss kills. While we are of course open to every other aspect of the game - player versus player, missions, crafting, socializing, role-playing - our sole priority will be raid performance.<br><br>The officers of the guild have years of leadership experience with both MMORPG guilds and core raid groups.
